About Us

Early in 2020 Sam Cole Food Ltd decided to concentrate their expertise on the growing demand for Home Delivery, Supplying the freshest seafood from “shore to door” and DeliverFish T/A Silver Darlings Fish Company was born.

As 4th generation fish merchants based out of the fishing port of Lowestoft on the Suffolk coast, it was a natural progression for us to use our expert knowledge and experience to supply direct to the consumer.

We source from around the UK and across the globe, but no matter where we source from, all our suppliers have one thing in common – They all meet our ethical and Environment Standards and are happy to be constantly checked against them.

How It Works

Select your fish

Choose from our wide selection of fresh and frozen seafood products Email your order using the order form, and we will call/email you back to confirm your order. Or alternatively call us on 01502 572715.

We Prepare

We prepare your order by hand, your fish filleted, boned and portioned to your requirements. This is then packed in an insulated box to ensure everything is kept cool and fresh for delivery to your door.

Payment

Once we know the exact weights and total of your order, we will call you to take payment over the phone.

Delivery

Your delivery day will be confirmed when we call you back to confirm your order. On the day of delivery your order will arrive in our refrigerated van.

My lockdown big find – Silver Darlings Fish Company - Delivered Wednesday lunchtime with a big friendly smile. Fresh and frozen fish - great quality and variety, halibut and bass excellent, now our favourites. Easy ordering, easy payment, what's not to like?

The delivery of Fish from Silver Darlings has been a god send during lockdown, and I imagine many of your customers will continue to order from you even when we are able to go to the shops again. No local fresh fish shops anymore!

I would just like to thank Silver Darlings – Especially Sam and Lou for such great service and such great quality Sea Food!!!! Since finding them I have been able to enjoy the sort of fish that I can only remember from my youth - before supermarkets and prepacked fish. The ease of ordering and receiving the weekly deliveries has been an absolute godsend in this time of lockdowns. The only slight draw back is that I now seem to be a supplier for my family, but at least I know that our Mums and Grand-Daughter have quality fish to eat!! Silver Darlings is THE BEST, from the friendly staff when placing an order, superb filleters to the cheerful drivers who deliver to our door – a huge plus during lockdowns, it’s a wonderfully run outfit. The fish is so incredibly fresh, packed in crushed ice, frozen items still solid. To top it all, excellent value.

I started using Silver Darlings back in April 2020 for home delivery when we went into lockdown. Everyone was so polite and the delivery driver was so obliging that I have continued to order my fish from them. They ring to check that I have all I want and to take my card details and it is then delivered the following day. It is so fresh and when it arrives it is packed and ready for the freezer with little trouble. It is a pleasure to do business with them nothing is too much trouble.

I highly recommend the fish delivery and service I get from Silver Darlings. The fish arrives so fresh and packed in ice, all we have to do is bag it up and either freeze or eat . The service from start to finish is great.
